Storing spices can be challenging for people with even the largest kitchen.

Spices should ideally be stored away from light and heat to keep them from going stale, and organised so that minimal mess is created when they are being used.

Organising spices in a custom draw will keep them fresh, organised and neat and allow for better access when cooking.

To make a custom drawer, measure and cut a plywood sheet to fit into the top of the drawer. Use a jigsaw to cut a series of customised openings, measured to fit the containers but supporting the lids for easy access.
