How To Keep Your Kitty Litter Tray Clean

Use a plastic garbage bag to make your litter tray easier to clean
How To Keep Your Kitty Litter Tray Clean

Disposing of the kitty litter is never fun. Pouring the old litter into the bin can be messy, and the tray often needs to be throurougly cleaned before it can be refilled again.

But luckily, there is a way you can make disposing of litter less unpleasant and keep the litter tray clean at the same time.

All you need to do is put the entire tray inside a plastic bag before adding the litter. Pour the litter into the tray on the outside of the bag so that the bag acts as a liner for the tray.

When it comes to disposing of the contents, simply turn the bag inside out, tie it up and put it in the garbage.

This makes disposing of the kitty litter easier and cleaner, as it avoids spills and the tray is protected by the plastic bag so it doesn’t need as much cleaning.
