How To Store Sandpaper

Store sandpaper so that it is organised and protected from damage
How To Store Sandpaper

One DIYer can amass a huge store of leftover sandpaper.

Usually sold in packs of 3 or more and used in a wide variety of projects from woodworking to renovating, sandpaper is a DIY must-have and storing it correctly will ensure a fresh supply is always on hand.

The key to proper storage is making sure sandpaper is kept flat and there is no risk of the surface being tarnished. It is also important to organise the paper by grit.

A plastic document file is a cheap storage solution that will also help you save space in the workshop. Purchase a document file with partitions. Label each partition with a different grit number and store sandpaper accordingly.
