How To Reinforce A Drawer With Plywood
Repair a sagging drawer to make it easy to open and close

Are your drawers sagging because they’re loaded with too much junk?
Overloaded drawers can cause the base to sag, making it difficult to open and close the drawer. They may need reinforcing, and luckily this is simple and easy to do.
All you need to do is cut a piece of plywood to size and attach it to the underside of the drawer base.
Simply empty the drawer and remove it, then invert it and liberally apply glue to the base. Attach the piece of plywood and allow the glue to dry before reinserting the drawer.
Your drawer will now be reinforced and the base will no longer sag.
