Buckets with wire handles and no grip can be hard on the hands. Make a DIY grip by cutting off a piece of rubber hosing and securing it over the wire handle.

You can also do this to provide an extra cushion over hard plastic grips. Use a strong adhesive to keep the hose cutting in place.
