How To Elevate Furniture When Painting
Use screws to elevate your workpiece when spray painting for more even coverage

Spray paint furniture with less hassle by using screws to elevate your workpiece.
With stools and chairs , drive a screw part way into the bottom of each leg and then test to see if the workpiece will stand upright. By keeping furniture from touching the ground, you will have better access to all angles of the workpiece, including the feet. Anyone who has spray painted a piece of furniture before will know how helpful this will be.
Choose medium to large screws for the best results and don’t forget to cover the surrounding area with newspaper or dropsheets. Another way to manage overspray is by creating a DIY spray booth.
