Spare plastic bags are always handy to have around but while they don’t take up much space individually, when grouped together they can overrun entire cupboards and drawers.

The best solution to this problem is to use a plastic bag dispenser. Dispensers keep plastic bags compact so that you can store plenty without too much room being taken up.

To create a DIY plastic bag dispenser, stick an empty tissue box onto the inside of a cabinet door. To affix the tissue box to the door you can use Command strips, double-sided tape or even Blu-tack.
