This punch is sweet and refreshing making it a great all-rounder beverage. You can serve it with main meals, on its own or at cocktail parties and barbecues. To make this punch alcoholic, simply add a spirit like gin or vodka. The following recipe takes 15 minutes to prepare and serves 6 people.

Cranberry And Lime Juice Punch

Ingredients

1½ cups cranberry juice
4 large limes
¼ cup caster sugar
250g punnet strawberries, halved
4 stalks fresh mint
750ml sparkling mineral or soda water, chilled
Ice, to serve
Mint leaves, to serve

Step 1.

Pour the cranberry juice into a large jug. Juice two of the limes and add to the jug with the caster sugar, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.

Step 2.

Thinly slice the remaining limes and add to the jug with the strawberries. Pour chilled sparkling mineral or soda water into the jug and stir.

Step 3.

Add the ice and top with mint leaves then serve.
