Heading off on a family or group holiday can be challenging with work and school commitments and expensive airfares, making it difficult to get away.
But its the perfect time for camping.
All it takes to experience the natural locations near you is a few inexpensive essentials and a bit of planning.
11. What to pack
Once you’ve established what kind of facilities are available at your chosen campsite, you can figure out what you need to bring with you.
Many campsites don’t have drinking water, so you’ll need to pack at least 5L per person per day for hydration and hygiene.
A jerrycan with a tap is ideal for carrying water.
If you’re not a frequent camper and don’t have all the gear, borrow from friends to keep costs down.
